From hand picked grapes and a miniscule production, with terrific fruit extraction and an ample overlay of oak, La Leccia gives a first impression of considerable power. After an hour of breathing, the supple fruit beneath the tannic cloak begins to emerge. This is serious wine from a property just beginning to show its potential.
